Many Women in Entertainment Are Into Hookups — Mummy Wa

Content creator Kemi Ikuseedun, well known as Mummy Wa, has claimed that many women in the entertainment industry rely on money from hookups to fund the lifestyles they display online.

She made the claim during a conversation with Phyna and other media personalities about how women working in different areas of the entertainment industry, including acting and content creation, make their money.

According to her, “A lot of women in the entertainment industry are prost!tutes, they are into hookups.”

Mummy Wa said some of the expensive lifestyles displayed by these women online are not necessarily funded by earnings from acting, content creation or other entertainment related work.

She claimed that such lifestyles are sometimes financed through money earned from hookups.

Mummy Wa, whose real name is Kemi Ikuseedun, is known for playing the character Mummy Wa in skits by comedian Mr Macaroni.

She has also featured in film and television productions and has spoken publicly about sexual exploitation and harassment in the entertainment industry.

In a 2024 interview, she said she would not sleep with anyone to secure acting roles or remain famous.

Mummy Wa has also previously spoken against people demanding sexual favours from aspiring actresses in exchange for opportunities in the industry.
