Star Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has revealed that she has been battling severe pain and difficulty walking for several months, explaining her prolonged absence from social media.

“Hi everyone. It’s my Silver Jubilee. In this new phase of my life, I pray to God for total calm. Happy birthday to me,” she said.
Daniels explained that her condition began as a minor issue but gradually worsened, limiting her ability to move around freely.
“For several months now, I have lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this,” she said.
According to the actress, her health took a turn for the worse after the last public event she hosted, a Children’s Day carnival. She said she had undergone several medical tests since then, joking that the experience had made her feel like a “lab rat”.
“But things took a major turn after the last public gathering I hosted, my Children’s Day carnival. It’s been one test after another, and I jokingly started calling myself a lab rat,” she said.
Describing the severity of her condition, Daniels said the pain had become excruciating and her ability to walk varied.
“The pain became, how can I explain this? The pain became excruciating. Sometimes I find myself walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move,” she added.
The actress also spoke about the emotional impact of her health struggles, saying she had cried over her condition and continued to pray for healing.
“I cried. I looked to God for His divine healing, as He alone has the final say on my life,” she said.
In the accompanying Instagram post, Daniels acknowledged that her appearance in a wheelchair might surprise her followers. She explained that she shared the video to address questions about her absence and update those who had expressed concern about her wellbeing.
The actress did not disclose a specific medical diagnosis or provide details of her treatment.
