ALAAFIN: We Have Lost An Embodiment of Culture - NASU FCE Oyo

The Non Academic Staff Union of Federal College of Education, Special, Oyo has claimed that Alaafin was an embodiment and custodian of culture in Yoruba Land. 

The staff union claimed that the foremost monarch was a great king the Yoruba race would never forget in a hurry, as he ruled and reigned as a Classical Monarch, adding that may God console the Oyo and Yoruba race. 

NASU, Federal College of Education, Special Oyo Chapter, made this assertion in the condolence message made available to newsmen by the Branch Secretary of the union, Comr. Badmus Tolulope Adekunle, who described Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III as an embodiment of Culture and a great king that preserved the Yoruba tradition and cultural heritage. 

NASU Federal College of Education Special Oyo, ably led by Comr Fagbemi A, condole with the entire sons and daughters of Oyo town and Yoruba race for the loss of our great king, the Union prayed to God to grant the Royal family the fortitude to bear the loss. 

"The condolence message reads in part, on behalf of NASU FCES Special Oyo, we condole with the Royal Family, the Oyo Mesi, the Oyo Sons and Daughters and the Yoruba Race in general on the demise of a great King, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo"
