Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has relinquished his position as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), pointing to health concerns as the reason for his exit.
The ex-Kano State governor made the disclosure on Friday, explaining that he chose to step aside to attend to his personal well-being.
With his departure, the party’s National Vice Chairman is expected to take over in an acting role until a new chairman is elected at the APC’s national convention slated for December.
