Williams Adeleye, a former Special Assistant on Media to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has congratulated Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, on his appointment as Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.

Adeleye described the appointment as well deserved, citing Akinwole’s years of service and experience in public administration.
In a statement issued in Abuja by John Babalola, Special Assistant to Adeleye, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Josh Integrated Property Limited, the former presidential aide expressed confidence in Akinwole’s ability to justify the confidence reposed in him by Makinde and contribute to the state’s development.
Akinwole previously served as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission before his latest appointment.
Naija Metro News had reported that Makinde announced Akinwole’s appointment on Monday in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde.
In a separate statement announcing the appointment, the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, said Makinde congratulated Akinwole and urged him to discharge his responsibilities with loyalty, commitment and dedication to the service of Oyo State.
