Star Afrobeat singer, Omoniyi Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, has announced October 24, 2026 as the date for his wedding to his longtime partner, Davita Lamai.

The couple announced the date in a video shared on Instagram on Thursday night with the caption, “24 October 2026”.
The Save the Date video features a voiceover by one of their children, who reflects on the couple’s relationship and family life.y
“When I think about love, I think about my mommy and daddy,” the child says in the clip.
The announcement comes months after reports that Zlatan and Davita had held a private civil ceremony.
In July, the couple announced their wedding plans to friends and colleagues while travelling to the wedding of businessman and music executive Soso Soberekon.
Their first child, Toluwalase Omoniyi, was born in 2020, while their second son, Benaiah Omoniyi, was born in 2024.
Zlatan and Davita have largely kept their relationship away from the public, with the singer occasionally sharing moments from their family life on social media.
The October 24 ceremony will mark a public celebration of their relationship after years together and raising two children.
