MTN Nigeria has acknowledged network disruptions affecting customers in parts of the country, including areas where subscribers have been experiencing poor service.

The telecommunications company confirmed the disruption on Thursday in a statement posted on its official X account, listing parts of Oyo, Lagos, Rivers and Delta states, as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), among the affected areas.
Network Outage Alert! We’re experiencing network challenges in some parts of Oyo, Lagos, Rivers, FCT and Delta States and our services may be temporarily unavailable as a result,” the company said.
MTN added that its engineers were working to restore the affected services as soon as possible and thanked customers for their patience.
In a subsequent update, the company apologised to customers experiencing difficulties using its services, saying efforts were underway to resolve the disruption.
MTN did not disclose the cause of the network problems or provide a specific timeline for the full restoration of services.
