A video currently making the rounds online has shown a man taking down the roof of a house he reportedly built for his girlfriend’s father, following the end of their relationship.
The footage, shared by Facebook user @Hon Prince Nwauzor, depicts several men carrying the roof away to an unknown location.
According to Nwauzor, the breakup happened because the woman decided she no longer wanted to continue the relationship. In reaction, he allegedly traveled to her father’s village with a group of local youths and removed the roof he had funded.
He captioned the video: “My babe said it’s over, so I went with my village youths to take down her father’s roof… after all, I was the one who paid for it.”
The incident has generated a wide range of reactions online. Some viewers found the situation amusing, while others condemned it as immature and excessive.
